Call for Posters
The aim of this symposium is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new ideas and contributions in the form of technical papers, panel discussions, as well as real-world evaluation in the field of wireless communications, networking and signal processing. This 14th symposium will bring together various wireless communication systems developers to discuss the current status, technical challenges, standards, fundamental issues, and future services and applications.
The Poster Track of ISWCS 2017 will provide an opportunity for presenting late-breaking results, on-going research projects, and speculative or innovative work in progress. Posters are intended to provide authors and participants with the ability to connect with each other and to engage in discussions about the work. Poster Sessions will be held during the normal conference days, with dedicated time-slots, i.e., there will not be any parallel sessions to them.
Proposals for Posters are invited in the following Tracks:
- Track1 – Communication Theory, Signal Processing, Information Theory, Antennas and Propagation
- Track2 – Networks, Protocols, Internet of Things, Services and Applications
Posters may address one or both Tracks, but they should be organised under a unified theme.
The submissions should include an IEEE-style one-page extended abstract. Extended abstracts shall be sent by email to email@example.com. They will be light-reviewed by the General Chairs and the Poster Chair and evaluated according to the following criteria: Relevance, Timeliness, Technical content, Novelty.
Accepted extended abstracts will be part of the Conference Proceedings, indicated as such, hence, not being uploaded to IEEE Xplore. Extended abstracts registration rules are as for regular papers. At least one author of each accepted Poster is required to register and present his/her Poster at the symposium.
