Call for Demos
The aim of this symposium is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new ideas and contributions in the form of technical papers, panel discussions, as well as real-world evaluation in the field of wireless communications, networking and signal processing. This 14th symposium will bring together various wireless communication systems developers to discuss the current status, technical challenges, standards, fundamental issues, and future services and applications.
We hereby call for demonstration proposals for ISWCS 2017, and invite the presenters of technical demos showing original research in the area of wireless communication systems and networking. Proposals for Demos are invited in the following Tracks:
- Track1 – Communication Theory, Signal Processing, Information Theory, Antennas and Propagation
- Track2 – Networks, Protocols, Internet of Things, Services and Applications
Demos may address one or both Tracks, but they should be organised under a unified theme.
Submissions from both industry and academia are strongly encouraged. The event will also be a platform for the demonstration of current achievements in the ongoing and recently finished research projects, such as those founded within the H2020 European program.
Demonstrations proposals should be submitted using a specific template available here (.docx). Proposers should describe what will be demonstrated to the conference audience, and how the attendees will be able to interact, enjoy, and experiment. Demo proposals shall be sent by email to email@example.com.
Presenters of demos will be provided with a small table, power supply (220V, 50Hz) and wireless Internet access. At least one author of each accepted demo is required to register and present his/her demo at the symposium.
